PROJECTING POLITICS is a national voluntary organisation of young politically-minded people, who are committed to improving political education in schools and elsewhere.
PROJECTING POLITICS is the only organisation that provides regular politically-balanced information about current events, aimed directly at pupils aged 15-19.
PROJECTING POLITICS aims to stimulate debate and discussion, to engage pupils with topical political issues, and to encourage them to challenge their own views and the views of others.
More than just how to vote, young people need to know why they should vote – and how to engage with current political issues intelligently.
Our resources are "balanced" and not "neutral". We provide pupils with relevant politically-balanced information that reflects the contrasting perspectives of contemporary political debates.
PROJECTING POLITICS exists to empower young people to be active citizens in Britain’s democracy through politically-balanced educational resources.
NB Projecting Politics began life as British Politics 4 Schools in 2004. The name changed because it did not reflect the fact that we were providing resources for youth groups outside schools as well.
